Get rid of attack command, only have attack-ground

Is there anyway to disable a unit from auto-acquiring targets, and only have it able to attack ground when the owner of the unit specifically commands it to attack ground?

Change the unit's acquisition range to 0, don't think it's possible to only have the attack-ground command.

Is there any ability or skill similar to attack ground that I could use instead?

you could make a unit that has no attack or anything (like a watch tower or farm), and give it an ability that targets a point which just orders a dummy to attack ground. You know, the dummy would actually have an attack that does X amount of damage.
