Help with ability casting

i made a jump ability system for a hero with Thrall's model, and works fine but if i set it to start when starts the effect of the abilitie it takes to long to start casting, and if i set it so start when begins casting the ability the ability cast is interrupted so it doesnt consume mana and cooldown isnt applied, the ability is based on "channel" with target point, so is there a way to force the cooldown of the ability or make it so it is casted inmediatly? plz help me i really need this

Go edit the "channel" ability and change the follow through time to 0.

Next, change the trigger to Starts the effect of an ability, and add a 0.01 wait timer after the "set variable"s in the trigger.

Wont setting it to 0 make it infinite.... :confused:

Follow through time on Channel is the channeling time...
0 is the perfect setting for not channeling.

Though it does sound more like he has a casting time...
Or his unit a somewhat long casting animation time.

You could try this function to change the position

JASS:
call SetUnitX(udg_yourunit, GetLocationX(udg_yourposition))


and the samy for Y. The orders of the unit will not be canceled, but the Player could still use stop fast...
