Help with items abilities

An item can only have 4 abilities how do i increase this number?

As far as I know it is not possible.

Spellbooks can be opened if their items, I assume you want to have an item with an active ability and more than four passive abilities? You can use a trigger to detect when a hero picks up the item and then give the hero the ability, then take it away when the unit drops the item.

i meant disabled spellbooks, I thik they will work

disabled spell book is the best way to go, or you can add 1 normal spell or ability then the spell book and the spell book wont open.
