I am so lost, Units spawning where they are not supposed to.

So in my map I have:

Which is suppose to make this:

attachment.php


Run easier.

Instead, the units all pile up in the center of the map, which is confusing me. I've search through the triggers and can't find a fault.

I can only think that one of the arrays gets set to default.

I think it has to do with wait I've added to make sure it doesn't slow down performance

2 things....remove the leaks!!!....and the second...if you wanna make this spawn thing with 2 seconds between every spawn make 3 triggers...

1. trigger

if the food is equal to 0 activate the second

2. trigger

every 2 seconds
create blablabla at blablabla facing blablabla
pick every unit
add it to blablabla

3. trigger
whenever you need it
turn off trigger 2

Well it worked but the game became ultra laggy.

I guess I may have to refer to a custom script code

i dont know the number of units you spawn...but lets say there are 10 per region...that would mean there were 130 units created at the exactly same time....that the game laggs is normal then...change the trigger to the version i told you some posts before...that should avoid this...

1: I love the way you explain things happy xD

2: It would be easier to help if the whole trigger was showing, and not just a section. The one with the tons of spawns.

But that one section is the whole ton of spawns.

Using arrays you can easily condense many spawns into one.

have you tested the different way i "explained" you? that way round there are 2 seconds between the spawn...that should avoid the lagg...

I added that trigger and it adds so many units. I still get lag too, not bad but annoying 'sticks'.

The main idea for this map came from my very first experiment way back in august. It had an interesting spawning system were the trigger was switched to a variable. And at different times of the night that variable got set to different things.

It started with the ability to call for artillery.

(you called for it, then went into this interface. And moved to where you wanted the shells to drop and selected the unit in the middle)

The spell hasn't been renamed it's the commander unit with Howl of terror.

I've attached it if you want to take a look in it.

It might be buggy though since it's only a concept map.

And it is winnable.
