Problems with IE 7 (Rc1)

Just put the new verion of IE7 (version RC1)....and its already gone wrong.

The problem is that the temp internet folder cannot be found....i can go into the browser history and access the folder and see what is inside from there....but when following the path manually through the folders it does not seem to be there.

Ive tried to put in a temp internet folder by the same name and that apparently already exists....so i have set the computer to show hidden folders and i still cannot find the thing..

This causes a problem when downloading things like flash and anything that is streamed on to the computer like media clips....as they cannot be put into the temp folder (even though it exists)

I have full admin rights to the computer so thats not the problem........

Any idea would be greatly appreciated and u will be given reps if you are the first with the answer

Thanks in advance all

1. Uninstall IE 7
2. Go here
3. Download
4. Install
5. Use

Simple as that

My guess would be to go to Tools / Folder options / View, and make sure you can see both "hidden" and "protected" files.

That may be very simple, but it fails to answer the actual question...

Try reinstalling IE 7.
And why don't you like FireFox?

Yep tried that....still dont work.....you would have thought that even microsoft would have iron out the buds in the rc1 version.

Problems like this are normally sorted out in the beta version....

PS.....I do use firefox some of the time but i prefer the look of ie 7.
