Which isn't nearly as good. Those high-end cars are what really drive up the price.

I don't know what you all have against Alienware. Sure it's cheaper if you build the computer yourself, but that takes time, and especially a good knowledge of how the innards of a computer works, what to buy, etc. Not everyone can do that. I had an Alienware I bought 5 years ago, and it was still running most game that came out just fine until about half a year ago, when it broke down. It was about 2200, which seems a fine price for a computer to last so long. (I love Alienware, and not for the brand name)

My comp cost me $1800, and I assembled it with my own two hands.

My best suggestion when looking for a comp or buying one is to check your local computer stores, believe it or not, sometimes you can get stuff from there cheapest. I mean when I was putting mine together, the store owners forgot to include a wireless card in the comp package so they just gave it to me for free :D
