immediate block attack

Like im making a defence game and i want the units if blocked to attack the building immediately
but they move around for like 10 seconds then attack
I want it to attack like the referee in line tower wars

Urrm... don't you mean when the path to the checkpoint is blocked, the creeps/units attack the buildings?

Then the units will attack towers that aren't blocking.

Essentially what he wants is for the player to be able to build towers in any configuration, as long as their is an open path from the start to the end point.

To stop the player from blocking the creeps to the end point, he wants the creeps to attack if there is no path.
