When I try to import new models into the editor they appear nice in the import manager (Model and Icon)

Then comes the problem... when I tries to create a new unit and change the model to imported *** and tries to place the unit inside the map it says: couldnt find texture/model (Can't remember) and places a green box there instead... HELP PLEASE!!!

Did you import the skin in to it too?

it seems that the texture path is incorrect.
Make sure you set the right path for imported textures

Thing is the textures you're naming here look like ingame textures already; so you won`t have to import or change any of them

The usual procedure to change filepaths as follows:
* Import manager (press F12).
* find the specified models
* doubleclick on model name
* check the box "Use custom path"
* change the path from war3mapImported\ to the specified path

EDIT:
I checked out the model. It says under skins:

Thief.blp
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNDustOfAppearance.blp
Textures\gnoll.blp

Thief.blp is marked red - that's the only skin that has to be imported correctly, the others are in-game textures as I see it.
So find the Thief.blp, then doubleclick, check "Use custom path", change the path to nothing so that only the name Thief.blp rests as path. Then restart your World Editor and the model should be shown in the editor and in game.
