Is this $93 HDD worth it?

I am considering getting this harddrive for $93. Would you say it's worth it or can I wait for the better price?

I'd just like to ask, because there are some better deals but they have less space, do you really need 1.5TBs?

I've never heard of that site, so I'd watch that part of it. Other than that, the drive is fine.

id stay away from the caviar greens, they tend to make excessive noise, which in turn points towards an early mechanical failure

also, 1.5tb is kinda a lot as ks mentioned, you would probably be able to find 2 good 750gb drives for the same amount

Generally, smaller hard drives tend to have better specs, like speed and such. The big ones are kind of like Proof-of-Concept, just showing whats possible, but not being that practical (yet).
