I'm working on a TD map and have a cool idea to let people customize towers. You can build a specialized tower which will then let you manipulate the parameters of another tower. It's all stuff like "+100 Range, but -10 damage" or "+20 Splash Radius but -.6 armor".
Anyway, this'll all be handled by applying Item Effects to towers, once the customize ability fires, a trigger will apply an Item Effect to the target.
My questions are:
1. How do Item Effects stack? I know "Orb" effects don't stack but other than that is it fair game?
2. How many Item Effects can be applied to a unit at the same time? I'm hoping that there's no hardcoded maximum (or a stupid high maximum), but if there is a maximum, how does WC3 handle additional effects? Does it ignore it or drop off an effect?
