Item icon size

Okay, I was using the tutorial and noticed that for spell icons it is 64x64 pixels and I was trying to import an icon for an item and it would keep coming up blank (Like no picture, but the tooltip would show up). So I kept looking at the tutorial and finally figured. "Item icons are smaller than spell icons". So can someone tell me the size for an Icon plz?

Aye, WE will resize the image if it is used for an Item. Notice how skills can use Items' icons? You think they have two sets of the same icons? No.
