Item Restriction

Ok say you spend ages killing a monster and it drops something that you REALLY want but someone else goes and nicks it and doesn't give it back, you really wish you wanted item player restriction.

How would i make it so that if you kill a monster, no one else can pick it up even if it's a power up?

I saw that "Item Ownership" does nothing so theres no point in asking about that.

You could try setting the custom value of the item to the player number of the killing player, then do a check when the item is picked up.

Just trigger it.
Something like this:

Event
A unit Dies
Conditions
Dying Unit is equal to (Your Enemy unit)
Actions
Item - Create (your Item)
Give Last Created Item to Killing unit

Next time use the search button as elmstfreddie says cuz its truly annoying to see many same threads.

This trigger has a chance to work.

Though you can replace the item create / give item with "Hero - Create item for Hero".

lol, sorry, I was tired and grumpy. You know I usually don't do that.
(post count is because I sometimes talk on here like I would on an instant messaging thing, I just ignore the post count it's unimportant)


Back on topic. You sure you wanna put this in your map, because, what if a few people are working on killing a boss. Then, only the killer would be able to get the items dropped by the boss. You say what if a guy comes up and nicks the item aye, well, what if he nicks the kill?
