locust swarm bug?

hi guys...

i made a custom locust swarm and just changed the model of the locust to a custom one but now these 'locusts' doesnt follow the hero why could it be?

Add the locust ability on the locust dummy you are using.

no i know what hes saying..its not a triggered spell just a regular spell changed graphics....

the reason it doesnt follow is because your animation is to short...for example the carion will last for as long as it travels..yet some of the other effects like breath of fire only last a second...try using a projectile or something to test it...=P

thats what i did....i copied locust, changed the model of it and added this new 'locust' to the custom locust swarm...and now the new 'locusts' dont follow the hero and just stand where they are if there are no enemies...

I just tried it, it worked fine...Only way it wont follow is if the "locust unit" doesnt have "locust".

im not that stupid guys...it has locust...as i already said its just a copied locust with a custom model...nothing else has been changed...


i will try it again....maybe it was a 'one-shot-bug'

Does your hero can blink far away? Then after blinking, locusts does not follow?

This happen to me before, don't mess with anything on the locust swarm besides the model/dmg or it wont move.

What do you mean what type of reply? When casting locust, then ur hero suddenly teleports a long range, locust units will not follow, but they will die, so im asking if his hero is blinking.

Why dont you try reset it completely to normal, and only change the model and try.

I meant the unit it self, the spell doesn't matter (but don't set the dmg in the spell below 0)

I suggest recreate everything:
Delete your current, copy and paste the locust again, change only the model(test ^^) first

Create new locust swarm spell again, only change the Swarm Unit Type. test ^.^

And test it.
