Hello, this is MMage. I have a few questions about my map i need answered. I will put them in the order i think of them :D .

1st: Is it possible to have a unit with a cd of somewhat time, lets say 10 seconds, and is still in cd to attack (Normally units cannot attack while in cd) with the assistance of a spell or trigger, without replacing said unit? Also, If so would this work on buildings?

2nd: Does anyone know where i could get good marine soundsets :D ? If so, could these be specialised, like one for a gunner, one for a medic....

CD means Cooldown

And yes you can make a unit have a cooldown after every attack..

no im not asking for a unit to have a cooldown, im asking if i can interupt that cd and have the unit attack as normal.

hmm...

Ok lets do a scenario:
Unit A attacks Unit B and Unit A has a cd of 10 seconds.
With the help of a trigger/spell, Unit A attacks Unit B within 3 seconds, 7 less than its cd.
Afterwards, Unit A attacks Unit B 10 seconds afterwards, going back to original cd time.

the 3 second thing isnt nessesarily what i want, i just put in a number.
Is that possible?

alright.

3: Is there such a thing as a stacking positive buff? If so, would this buff be able to increase attack speed and damage?

Yes but,
u need to base on some skill or base on the specify buff and edit it...

like u need a +atk spd buff
U can find the bloodlust buff and edit it ....

A unit can stack at least more than 16 buffs

4: Is there such thing as a positive passive buff?

Example: Envenomed Weapons is passive.
If we gave it negative values, it would increase attack rate to anything it hit.

Is this possible with an attack+damage(the damage it deals)buff?
Ive tryed using dummy casters, but they can be overrun with spells to cast on too many units.

hmm

time for another scenario :D

Unit B attacks Unit A.
Unit B has a passive attack ability (An ability that goes with its attack, Envenomed Weapons or most Orb items for example) and when Unit B attacks Unit A, Unit A gets a bonus to its damage and attack speed.
This only bonus only lasts while Unit B is attacking Unit A (Duration of it = to CD of Unit B).
If Unit B were to stop and do soemthing else, Unit A would no longer have the bonus.
Also, If Unit B attacked Unit C, Unit C would not get this buff.

I dont really want to use a trigger ability (unit attacked, give unit blah, wait blah seconds, take blah away) i would like it in a buff form. If i did it with dummy casters, there could be 3 Unit B attacking diffrent Unit A and then the caster would get swamped, only one tower would get the buff, even without a cd or cast time. Is this possible? If so, how?

1. Don't continue to post new questions in the same thread. Start a new one. It's ok if you ask several questions in the first post, though.

2. I think that would be next to impossible. It would be very difficult to detect if the unit was still being attacked. You would probably have to use variables, and MUI would be tough. By the way, a buff really does nothing. It just adds the icon under Status.

1: Alright.

2: dang XD. So the only way it would work is dummy casters or trigger ability add/remove...
