Map Restore

Today, I did a lot of work on my map, entering values for 150 variables, making 50 units and all that great stuff, lots of busy work. And then i saved it and left WE open as i left for the night. Apparently there was a power outage and now whenever i open my map, it reverts to the version without all the changes. So is there any way to recover my new version?

if you used the test map function maybe your map was saved as a test version

Are you sure you looked everywhere for the newer version? Perform a search, try to remember things like the time you last edited it and file size of the map. Things like these will help you to find your map through a search.

well, back to redoing it all again

hmmm... it shouldn't do that would it?

If you've saved it, then it shouldn't magically revert like that.

You either forgot to save it, or you saved it to a different location.

i know thats what i thought too... Maybe WE saves to a buffer or something and writes all of the changes upon the program's exit. That would explain why the power outage would revert the map
