Model Editor help(n00b question)

Hi,im a newbie in World editor and Modeling,and ive got a problem with my Model Editor,every downloaded custom unit or doodad i open in the MD,it appears black,and Hero glows appear black also.........if you have the answer then please tell me,or if there's already a post with the fix for this problem,please give me the link....i really appreciate the help

1) What model editor are you using?
2) Are you sure it's not the models fault?
3) Some models will appear different in the model editor rather than in-game / world editor.

I use Magos/War3 model editor,and im pretty sure its not the models fault

First of all, Magos is a VERY bad model editor.

Be sure to have the skins asserted correctly.

If this doesn't work, it is the programs fault.

Also, don't double post.

GMax or 3DS if you can afford it. ($3500)

Mago's model editor is bad because there is no option for free movement, it has a VERY bad UI, and no good way to make bones, cameras, animation etc.

It's generally just a completely unusable tool.

Well,how bout the black problem and why do i get a green-black box everytime i place a custom doodad?

The black problem is probably because you don't have the right skin for the model.

The boxes come because the model hasn't loaded.
Restart WE to fix it. If this doesn't work the model is corrupted.

How can i put an item to an model? like when i put a Item (For example Frost mourne ) to a model it will shown to the model ... like he was wearing this kinda item.....
