MP3 player won't show up

When I plug my mp3 player into any of my USB ports, it won't show up. I know the all the ports work (on mp3 player and computer) since the player says it connected and a joy stick will work on all the ones on the computer.

do you have the software to read mp3 player in your pc?
have you tried refreshing?

Go to the mp3 manufacturer website to download the driver for your mp3 player. Make sure the mp3 player is connected when you do this.

Ah, figured it out. Had to go to the website and download the update.

It doens't need drivers, so i didn't think the website would have anything, but they had some update that came out a few days before my problems.
