My hero has 28hp even though I input its hp to 3. PLUS other hero problem

I want my hero to have 3 hp because in this map I'm making, units' damage are just 1s. I think it might be because the hero is lvl 2 when the game starts (by using triggers).
I put it to lvl 2 because I want the hero to have the 2 skills it has... since I don't know how to make the hero know the two skills even though it's still lvl 1.

I mean... I could make a unit with those two abilities, but regular units apparently can't learn the custom abilities I made - since it's based from Storm Bolt, which I think only heroes can learn?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but custom units edited from melee units can only learn unit abilities while heroes can learn both unit and hero abilities.


another question is that for some reason, when I learned the second ability, the "attack" button disappears even though I still have damage. When I first tried my map while the hero was lvl 1, the hero's stats were: 3hp, 0armor, and 1dmg. But when I put triggers making the hero lvl 2 to learn the second ability, the hero's stats changed to: 28hp, -2armor, and 3-2dmg.

SO... my questions again were:

(1) Why does my hero's stats messes up when its lvl 2 but normal when it's lvl 1?
(2) Why does the attack button disappear when I learn the second skill?

1. It has to do something with your attributes increment. Go to your hero and look for the stats: Stats - Agility per level:, and so on.

also you can add custom abilities, it uses a jass script i forgot it but it will not be that hard to find out just make a topic and ask for it.

I've put it on most things on 0 except for the ones the requires a minimum of 1. But still 28 hp and -2 armor

Change Stats-Hero Ability to False then you can give the ability to non-heroes

Ur base stats cant be lower than 1 and 1 strenth give 25hp. 25+3=28

And in order to change what Sharkbait said, you'll have to go to Advanced > Gameplay Constants, click Use Custom Gameplay Constants and edit this field:
