need some extra ideas!

hi,

i'm making a map that could be discriped like a Hero Duel map.

this is what i already have:

1. abilitiy's, items
-ability's can be bought, and standart weapons can be upgraded to lvl 10.
-ability's that aren't upgraded won't have any effect.. (crit lvl1= 0% crit)
-you start with weapons: gloves (attackspeed), sword (dmg), chest (hp, armor?), feet (movement speed)
-you start with ability's: windwalk, crit%, vamp aura%, dodge%
-you can buy weapons: none, only upgrade
-you can buy ability's: don't know yet.., plus upgrade stardards
-you can buy items: don't know yet..
2. Gameplay:
-8 players, with a leaderboard that shows who has the most points scored (points are based on killing, attacking, and round place (1st gets more than 8th place). every hero can die once every round, and spawns right afther. the player with the most points wins when all rounds are over.
- max hero lvl: 1 (no leveling)
- afther every round there will spawn a shop. there are 12 rounds, every 4 rounds in a other terain.
-the person with the highest score gets a crown (special effect) over his head.

this must give a idea how my map looks like, every kind of idea is welcome!! i'll ad rep for good ideas!

For the weapon upgrade:
Item usually have a quantity, so if you buy a sword and upgrade it to lvl 5
The sword quantity will be 5, Thus the damage will be more than lvl 1 sword.
(I have done this once, but forget the detail already, the example maybe in my legendary arcieve)

Ability upgrade:
Either hero lvl up and learn new skill or using upgrade

If you were talking about custom hero, i think it will be a complicated issue especially about the balancing the skill. (If player vs computer does not really matter, but pvp is something)
Thus, creating a hero with already assigned skill to them is the straight one

thank you for the reaction, yeah i was thinking about upgrading the skill, and using existing ability's is a smart idea.. i'll just rename and remodel them ^^
