Need some trigger help!!

Im trying to find a way to remove Dalaran Violet Tower and replace it with another non-ruined tower when you step on a trigger.

It's not a destructable, so i dont know what it would be under in the trigger editor.:banghead:

Unit - Create 1 Unit for Player at Position of Unit

Try those two actions out in your trigger.

Well, if its a unit you could do this...

Event
    Unit - A unit enters Region
Condition
Actions
    Unit - Replace Dalaran Violet Tower with Your Tower

The Replace unit is under Unit you will also have to say what HP to use.

Its not a unit, it's a doodad>structure.

Why don't you just make it a unit then. (You made it sound like it was a unit in first post.) Create a tower set its model file accordingly then give it the locust ability with no others. It will be unselectable and you can manipulate it like a unit but it will look like a doodad.

Well it would be help if it was a unit, but its not, now i made the custom units into the doodad module but now i cant find the locust ability.

Double click on normal abilities, then push "L" look at all the skills starting with L and it should be there.

also i have a bunch of unkowns (Aloc) unkown (etc...)

I don' t get what is difference between unit and building, you can replace bouth with unit/ building.
Anyway Locust ability is used by Locust unit what you can see when Crypt Lord uses his Locust Swarm ability. That ability is on unit who is under Undead special units.

killerbf1, Do you have TFT? or just RoC? cause Locust might be a Frozen Throne only, if you dont have it then thats why the ability isn't there

Ability for Locust shows up as Unkown (Aloc)

OKAY, never mind the Unkown (Aloc) i updated war3tft to the latest version and now Locust shows up....

Hmm... On mine, its just under Load Wisp.

I just had a look to see if i could make an ability based off Locust, but i can't.
Are you twying to make the ability? Or just give it to your structure?

He had a doodad that was a structure. It wasn't a unit that was a building. No idea on the Unknown just test it and see if it does what it is supposed to do.

Thank's alot everyone for the much needed help, as experienced with the triggers and object edit in world edit i might be, i still find times when i need help. The problum was that i had the oldest version of war3tft with no patch's and once i updated it to the most recent version, the ability Locust showed up.
