Noob question. Let enemy attack unit type.

Heey,

i think this is a noob question but i cant figure it out.

I want to spawn like 20 creeps each... seconds -> i know how to do this

then i want them to attack or a hero that i have premade and standing somewhere in the map. -> dont know how to do this.

Then i want the creeps to attack (if there are any) buildings of a certain type.

There priority (if this is possible to make) must be the buildings and then the hero.



if this is not possible... just order the creeps to attack any unit of player 1 red.


how to do this???

This trigger spawns unit and order them to attack the building if the building is still alive, and if not... attack the hero.

  • Events
    • Time - Every 20.00 seconds of game time
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • -------- Spawn --------
    • Set TempPoint = (Center of Region 000 <gen>)
    • Unit - Create 20 Creatures for Player 1 (Red) at TempPoint facing Default building facing degrees
    • Custom script: call RemoveLocation(udg_TempPoint)
    • -------- Order Attack --------
    • Set TempUnitGroup = (Units in Region 000 <gen> owned by Player 1 (Red))
    • Unit Group - Pick every unit in TempUnitGroup and do (Actions)
      • Loop - Actions
        • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
          • If - Conditions
            • (Building is alive) Equal to True
          • Then - Actions
            • Unit - Order (Picked unit) to Attack Building
          • Else - Actions
            • Unit - Order (Picked unit) to Attack Hero
    • Custom script: call DestroyGroup(udg_TempUnitGroup)

You can make another If/Then/Else to check if both the Hero and the Building is "dead" and just order them to "Attack Move" to the target location. They will attack the first enemy they will encounter (the other units).
