I have tried searching on Google regarding my problem, but not one has helped me or I might not have used the correct search terms. Anyway...

I am using this Desktop computer, if you need specs, tell me. The problem is that, for a few times of using it again after a long period of time(roughly half a year), it would hang, either in the middle of usage or before the Window XP loading screen.

After one particular restart, it will load Windows, but after that, it just gives a blank screen. I can only start up in Safe Mode. Any idea how do I get it back into the normal mode again? I did not enable System Restore last time...:banghead:

While in safe mode try....

Start menu, run, type in "msconfig" (no " in there...lol) and click the box that says "diagnostic startup"

Apply and try to reboot as normal.

If theis fails then its likely that your boot file has become corrupted and that mean reinstalling windows on to the computer....

Hope that helps
