Passive Magic Resistance

I am trying to give a hero a passive ability that reduces spell damage by 10%.

I tried basing it off of the item ability for runed bracers but when I learn it there is no icon in the skill card, and I can't tell if it is working or not. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Use the Elune's Grace ability.

Just change its unit ability to a hero.

In order to check if it is working give the unit 100 HP 0 armor and put it on the map as your enemy.... give your hero a custom ability that deals 105 damage. If the unit gets killed than it isnt working.

Even though you cannot see the icon, I can assure you it works. If you want an icon, use an ability like "Critical Strike" and give it a 0% chance to deal 1x damage so that it basically just acts as a dummy icon. Rename the critical strike to your ability's name and use triggers:

When unit learns ability

Ability learned = Passive Magic Resistance

Add ability - Actual Magic Resistance

Not sure will it work..... i hate the WE spell/magic differences...
