A California couple who practices a "polyamorous" lifestyle recently revealed how being in an open relationship is not only good for their sex lives but has also benefited their young son.

Kamala Devi has been married to Michael McClure for 12 years. Six months ago, McClure's 27-year-old girlfriend, Rachel Rickards, moved into their San Diego home.

Devi, 38, and McClure, 49, have a 6-year-old son named Devin. They told ABC News that Rickards is also a part of the boy's life. "It takes a village to raise a child and it feels really good to have that kind of support," Devi said

McClure said his son is aware of their unconventional relationship and living arrangement. "He understands the word 'polyamory.' He understands what that means. He doesn't really know what sex is yet," McClure said.

well, it's not conventional but they're pretty much right. humans generally feel better when they have more people in the immediate vicinity who care about them

Eh? What kind of benefits does it give the poor child... Love? Such a Joke! The poor child is going to have some serious issues! Seriously, they screw around with different partners. It's Just a twisted Orgy. Not even so "called relationship"

some aren't restricted to loving one person. I seriously doubt the kid is going to have more issues than the average american

If it was love "they wouldn't screw everyone"

being in an open relationship
It's pure and simple "promiscuity" It has nothing to do with real love!
And the kid would have more problem than everyone else! No Doubt

So you're saying that one person can only ever love one other person?

And then you wonder why the world is full of hate.

You seem to be forgetting what "polyamorous" actually means. Or maybe you just don't know, and think it's wrong because of that.

And You don't know what "open" relationship means. This is not polyamorous... It's promiscuity and that's very different. But it doesn't matter. Both are nuts!

Well, each to their own. But seriously, to say it would benefit the kid. Yeah Right!

Some big words in there buddy. Let's take a step back and make sure you aren't getting in over your head. This is, by definition, polyamorous.

Indeed. It's rare to find people who can sustain multiple relationships, and I respect them all the more for being proud of it despite all the negative judgements other people make of them.

being proud of it
What's there to be proud of... In such twisted relationship? Because they can add some lovers? Well, they don't need to concern for the other person's feelings. Hmmm Maybe one more husband/wife to mess it up a little bit more?

One can be proud to not be like you firecat, because you are the scum of the earth. You are the reason for racism. You are the reason for war. You are the reason for any kind of hate on earth, because you are the personification of ignorance.

You're probably thinking of adding sexual partners. Actually loving multiple people is a lot more taxing, and the ability to do so is considerably enviable.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
