Poor World Editor Performance?

Hi folks,

I've been wanting to finish a big map idea for some time, but I always become discouraged because of one thing--the performance of the world editor. I have a pretty decent PC, yet every time I make a chance to a unit, or an ability, or whatever else--it has 20-30 seconds at times of delay before I can do something else. Granted, it does not do this when editing minor numbers, but if I'm making a new unit or ability, or renaming something, it's wait city. Is this normal, or is this something I might fix? I have 2 gigs of DDR ram for chrissakes!

1. Open WE.
2. Go to the Window button.
3. Untick/Deselect Brush List.
4. Your problems should not be so much of a problem now.

y'know this should be under the sticky..as i bet all people encoutner this problem.

I was just grinding it out ..until i made a simliar post a while ago.

reduce undo limit to 100
disable sky
