Problem With Age of Mythology

I have been playing Age of Mythology for a few weeks now,and now when I load it the introduction screen comes up plays then the whole thing goes black and a box comes up and says "initilization failed".I have tried reinstalling it a couple of times and I am not on the internet.Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is completely random, but I used to love that game before Wc3.

I actually made two maps that became hits. Then I came to Warcraft, and now that's a different story

Same thing happaned to me (both the i played AoM then Wc3) and the "initilazatin falied" thing. For me, it was because i had a Slow computer. What is : ur comp type (Hp, Dell ect) what version of windows, mac, or other do you have,how much RAM do you have, and how many Programs/games are on your computer?
