Hello. I'm currently having a problem with the crypt fiend's burrow ability on a custom crypt fiend unit and its special version for its burrowed state. I have the burrow ability set so that the alternate form of the unit and the normal form of the unit correspond to the custom units. Both units are also under the same classification.
After the unit burrows and then unburrows, it plays its death animation after it finishes unburrowing, even though it's still alive. Then when the unit is attacked the game crashes straight to the desktop. No fatal error message. I do have triggers to cause the unit to cast spells when attacked. Could the problem be some sort of interaction with morphing and those triggers? Or could it be that the normal form of the unit and the burrowed version of the unit have to have certain fields in their unit data as perfectly matching? I know the triggers by themselves aren't the problem, as I switched out burrow for windwalk, and the game doesn't crash after the unit becomes visible again. So what are the ways that burrowing (or mophing abilities) can go horribly wrong?
