Hey, I'm trying to make a spell which fires 4 projectiles from the caster in random directions. This is what I devised:
-Create 4 dummy units as projectiles at position of caster.
-Order the dummy units to move to position of casting unit offset by random real numbers from -500 to 500 on both the x and y axis.
Basically this trigger makes the projectiles move to a random point within 500 units of the caster. The problem is that I want it to move the full 500 units, as opposed to simply stopping at, say, 200. Is there a way to fix this, or a better way to do this?
I was thinking of using random sets of variables, e.g. projectiles move in random point from (-1000 to -500) and (500 to 1000) in both x and y axis, so that all the points require the projectiles to move 500 units or more. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this.
Edit: Oh wait, I found it. Was called "Point with Polar offset", which allows you to move at any angle from a point.
