Run Melee AI only for Picked Players

Hi all.

Im creating this standard game and I would like to know how do u run the Melee AI only for desired Computer players.

• Melee Game - Run melee AI scripts (for computer players)

This code doesnt allow me to select which player I want. If I must use Jass, can anybody teach me how?

If you mean that you want for example player 1 and 5 computer (BOT) it is easy and you do not need trigger editor about that. Just follow the steps below :


1) When opening the editor , look high on your screen you will realize that there is a button named " Scenario " click it

2) A menu will pop up immidiatly , then click " Player Properties "

3) All the players are there you can change their names , race , controller. You want to make a player to be controlled by a computer so you go to the controller column and at the player you want you change the " User " or " None " text to " Computer "

Success this player is now a BOT.

No thats not what I want.

Let me explain again. I want ONLY Player 1 to 8 to be controlled by Computer AI. However if you look at this GUI function, its doesnt allow me to choose which Player I can allow AI.

I want it something like this;

• Loop
  • Melee Game - Run melee AI scripts (for player 1 to 8)

So if it cant be done in GUI, im very sure there is a way in Jass. Unless Im mistaken.

Perharps this should be in the Jass Forum. If a mod wont mind moving it.

play around with variables??
