That's a classic in this thread here...

    Open the save/load map,
    trigger editor,
click on the map's name at the very top of the trigger list.

See that bunch of text there?

Select it all and copy & paste it into your own map's custom header (same place).

Wat do u hav to change in the map that u attached to make it all save PROPERLY. I had it working, it saved, loaded the heroes etc. but once i acquired an item and saved, it gave a code, but wen i loaded, it said it was invalid...

I did add the items to the variables, so that's not the problem...

Oh, btw this is Terminator... it's his brother...

    Please could you help??

i have just paset over (from your tuto. map) the "Save Load ALL" triggers and surpose that'll do it if i want to save all items, level and so on, but i got a proplem, i'm NOOB at custom scribt and got a proplem, when i enable the triggers it show up with these errors:
when i activate the Save trigger:
    Line 213: Exspected a name
    Code:
        set udg_Save[udg_SaveCount] = SaveLoad_Unit2Integer( udg_TempUnit )
    Line 235: Expected a name:
    Code:
                set udg_Save[udg_SaveCount] = SaveLoad_Item2Integer( udg_TempItem )
    Line 257: Expected a name:
    Code:
        set udg_Code = SaveLoad_Encode()
When i activate the Load trigger:
    Line 226: Expected a name:
    Code:
        set udg_Validate = SaveLoad_Decode( udg_Code )
    Line 246: Expected a name:
    Code:
            set udg_TempUnitType = SaveLoad_Integer2Unit(udg_Save[udg_SaveCount])
    Line 263: Expected a name:
    Code:
                set udg_TempItemType = SaveLoad_Integer2Item(udg_Save[udg_SaveCount])
hope someone could help with this :S

    storage of integers?

Is it allready possible in your save/load code to store some integer values?
and if you didn't added such function do you want me to tell how to add such a thing or add it yourself? since i want to store in the save/load code where you was with what quest.

    > Is it allready possible in your save/load code to store some integer values?

    Actually, that's all it's doing...

Not to mention that the map comes with an example that does exactly that.

    Abilitys

Ok, I have managed to get everything to save from heros Stats to extra variables for kills and deaths etc. However the hero abilitys do not load, I have put them all in the code area however it appears as the loadALL code dosen't even try to load them. may I get some advice please?

Nothing can be done there at this point...

"It doesn't work" is not a very good problem description.
We might get somewhere if we had some triggers to look at (good), or, optionally, the map (less good).
