Spellbook Help

I was hoping to get some help with my spellbook.

Basically, I have a spellbook for each hero. To start, I want each spellbook to have one spell. When the hero reaches level 5, I want the spellbook to be able to have another spell. How can I do this?

(Yes, I have searched for how to do this, and I have read andrewgosu's tutorial on spellbooks. I have found no way to do this.)

This is Quite easy. Make your spell book a unit ability, and give it multiple levels, each level having however many extra spells you want.

Then have Event - Hero gains a level
Conditions - Heros level equal to 5
Actions - Set level of Spellbook for Hero to 2

Your hero should now have a spiffy new spell to cast in his spell book.

Alternatively, you could disable the spells at the beginning of the game and then enable them when you need them (This way, you can learn spells without learning one before).

The downside is that NONE of the player's unit can use that ability then.

To fix Anything.'s suggestion, you can make the spellbook require a research ("Level 15" would display the text "Requires Level 15"), and when a hero hits 15, you just research it for the player via triggering.

Okay, that worked, but now whenever I get a new spell it overwrites the old one so I can only use one of the spells. I tried messing with the x and y coordinates of the icons, but that's not working. Actually, here's a thought coming through me as I type this: I had the first level with the first spell, the second level with the second spell, instead of the second level having both spells.

edit: Yes, I fixed my problem thanks to Darox's suggestion and then fixing the spell list for each level.
