I'm starting an icon marathon for SSBM.
I will be making an icon for every character in SSBM, and for each of their B abilities.

Also, I will be updating this weekly* with new SSBM character & skill icons (if this is not against any forum rules). So...

They all kinda look like copy and pastes, with maybe some tiny edits, but i may be wrong tho. They all look good though.

Ye, they look very like they were copy and pasted, but nice icons all the same.

The shadows around the edges of the metallic border on the icons are too thick ;P, they need to be 3px wide, 20% transparency on the lines closest to the center, 40% transparency on the middle lines, and 60% transparency on the lines closest to the borders.

Other than that, and these looking kinda like copy/pastes, good job, they're pretty nice .

They are copied and pasted, but with some effects are added to make the icons have similar color schemes and such. Most of them are cut-outs of images from a ssbm website.

they do indeed look awesome, but i personaly fave the fireball just because it can be universally used ^-^

Pen Tool ftw?

It is choppy a little. I suggest the pen tool when rendering because you can achieve better curves rather than using a polygonal lasso.

Also, to remove white outlines, have the render selected and go to "Select > Contract" or w/e it is. Then just delete the inverse selection.

These are pretty good though. Gj.

not bad, though some are deff. on a higher level then the rest, some look like straight CnP's, some look too cartoonish and filtered, while others really look good

I mean, even renderers like myself give credit to the original author. Just provide a link.

I think the background effect is too repetitive. You should add some more foreground effects to spruice up the icon. Otherwise it would just seem like a cut and paste with the same bg but edited hue. :\
