Starcraft 2 vs WC3

of course we would like SC2 its made later. so its more in-depth then wc3. which came out 2+ years ago. Unless one is old fashion you would like sc2. Besides. Wc3 came from SC :/

Hmm. Very interesting. Seems kinda lame modding for wc3 now if so many people are switching. I do hope though, that Dota and online play sticks around, especially considering it is still going on since its release in 2002.

Patch it for DoTA.. I prefer WC more the SC. Graphics don't make the game. Many of my friends say SC is better purely for graphics. I just like WC better, but maybe if they ban DoTA for SC...

My ass, they aren't focusing on high end graphics, games like Command & Conquer 3 focused very highly on graphics, Blizzard is actually just using a more updated system, rather then the same old near decade graphics engine, of which they used for WoW until Wotlk, of which is still pretty much the same.

How many times have blizzard failed? IF blizzard cant even manage to make war3 without causing so many problems to themselves and the members.... what makes you think they can manage a bigger engine, and yet let alone how many times they will fuck up.

I belive personaly that warcraft 3, with its flaws has come a long way from starcraft, and starcraft 2 wont be perfect either but should come long ways too.

I dont feel they have failed.


Anyway back to the topic at hand. My First game i got into was warcraft 2, then starcraft , then cs, then warcraft 3. I pesonly got closest to warcraft 3. I expect my self to mod in stacraft 2, but i don't know if ill put half or a tenth as much time playing it/ or custom games of it. but thats just because of my life not so much the game it self.

I am very excited about the updated battle net. To me the interface that i play the game in is almost as important as the game itself. I may be lame but its true for me. I don't know how much mroe power the editor will have but i believe that things that are hard and possible now will become much more easy to do in the edtior.

With Starcraft II out, I concentrate some of my free time to create Warcraft 3 content, models for Starcraft 2. That is why I am learning modeling, though who knows where I end up. Concept and my own 3D creations have become as fascinating as game models.

I'm really looking forward to SC2, I'm mainly looking forward to the expanded scripting.
