I am working on a huge project. It is an Rpg based off the Elder Scrolls Series, but it is unique from them all, with unique quests, a new world, but some things, such as monsters, are from the series, there is a huge combiniation of heroes, first you pick one of the ten races, then you select to either be an archer, warrior, or mage for that race, then you select one of six birthsigns. It has many features, such as alchemy, fast travel, enchanting. I would like some suggestions or other elements of the series that should be included, also please reccomend a good model for khajiit, gnolls are the closest i can find. Thanks. :)

I think an import for just the main character would be alright.

Sounds like a good plan, and I will help whenever I can. For the only (1)item system you are trying. . . I'll look into it a bit, see what I can find for you.

wll there isnt a main character, you pick one of the ten races, and then pick one of three classes (warrior,archer,mage) then pick one of six birthsigns), it is for 10 players, and since importing increases map size dramatically, im not gonna do it, so the 56k warcrafteers can enjoy my game. :)

Fyi After you compress imports, they don't take up much space at all ;)

And in other words, for each class(archer, mage, knight) have different models, and then what you choose first for race, just change a bit of detail or skills that they get

even if i compress them, thats 30 models, and i am making 2 more classes, and that makes 50 models, even compressed, 50 models takes up a bit

honestly though... if you do the name Elder Scrolls any justice anyone with 56k ain't gonna be able to play it anyway... you will need way to bigg a map... way to many triggers... and WAY too many units on the map... there is no way that a slow comp will process it all and not lag

It runs perfect on my windows 98 56k... then again my windows 98 is pretty upgraded, hmm, nvmnd u have a point.

hmm, my computer, although an old version, is highly upgraded, and runs better than many XP computers, and my dial-up, its really nice dial-up, i dunno what it is, i dun pay for it :D

What I meant, is it wont open up if its in windows 98, windows xp+ is a necessity.

warcraft 3 and the editor run fine on 98, and yeah, i hope my cp can still play it when its finished, it would suck to not be able to play my own game.

You stated your WINDOWS 98 computer runs elder scrolls IV olbivion perfect. . .

I went to morrowind site and it clearly stated that oblivion wont open for anything less then windows 2000!! That is what Im talking about, you made me go all off topic lol =]

He said the MAP he made ran perfectly on his comp... not Oblivion... there ain't no way oblivion would work on his computer

Well, all I'm saying for this is don't have any glitching in your version like Morrowind and Oblivion did, rofl. What bow dupe?

Hi. I'm making a mass unit map based on oblivion myself so it wont be anything like yours but one thing im curious about is the terrain I got a 256x256 map and im not 100% happy with my terrain (probably about 70% happy if it matters) I did my best with the WEbut its just not big enough and thats after I decided to not include Leyawin, Kvatch and Anvil. (and made the road to skingrad and chorrol WAY to short about 1/3 of what its supposed to be) So im just curious when and where will your map happend? And hows it going with ur terrain o_O

why don't you just make scale value to 50% from 100%? then you should have enough room for Leyawiin and Anvil and something more.

not that I want to continue to discuss my map in another maps thread but atleast if I decrease the size of my map the size of cities will be to small gameplaywise anyways I want to know how this guy is gonna deal with it ^^ especialy since I consider detail to be even more important in an RPG than in a Altered Melee (which is probably what my map is im not sure hehe)

well my terrrain is nothing like any of the games, it is set in a ew unique world, so i dont need to worry about fitting everything into one 256x256 map, i can make as few or many towns as i like

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
