The second season of Invincible, Amazon’s excellent animated superhero show, started airing back in October. Now, just four short weeks later, it’s taking a break.
What happened? Is season 2 finished after just four episodes? Did the show get cancelled? Happily, no. Invincible season 2 will return with four more episodes, but not until sometime in 2024.
Just like season 1, season 2 of Invincible will have eight episodes when all is said and done. But season 1 just aired all eight episodes in a row. Why is season 2 breaking them up like this? We don’t have a firm answer, but it may have something to do with Amazon wanting to stretch out content given the delays it incurred as a consequence of the Hollywood writers and actors strikes, which have both now been resolved. Either way, the important thing to take away is that Invincible season 2 will continue, just not this year.

There are no more new episodes of Invincible in 2023
Invincible season 2 kicked off in October, but we won't see the remaining episodes until sometime in 2024, hopefully early on.
