Upgrades...?

How can I make an upgrade work if its not researched?
I want to make the marine have a shield and the baneling roll without researching.
How can i do that?

Remove the requirements on those abilities.

More specifically,

Unit -> (Ability) -> Commands

Select the Ability, select the requirement in bottom screen, and remove it with the red X.

So where can i find the actual ability? All i can see is upgrades but not an ability.

In the Data editor (F8), select Units as the Data Type.
Select the marine.

In the bottom tech tree, under behaviours, select Marine - Marine Shield. In the requirements field, remove Use Shield Wall.
