Upgrading shops with different items?

Hi
I'm making a map where the players have a shop from which to buy equipment, however I need to make the shop upgrade so that better equipment can be bought. I've made a shop, based off of the arcane vault, and filled it with items. I then made a second shop and set the first shop to 'upgrade to' it. The second shop contains none of the items from the first shop and is stocked with completely different items. However in the test map when the shop is upgraded the second shop contains only the items from the original shop and none of the new ones.

How do I get an upgrading to shop to have a different roster of items to the original?

If i understood u right u want to make a new shop that has new items?
Then u should make the upgraded shop with the upgraded items by triggers.
First u have to remove the old shop and then create the upgraded shop.
If there is some problem instead inform me.

I have tried triggering it but it hasn't worked. My trigger is thus:

    Events
        Unit - A unit Finishes an upgrade
    Conditions
        (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Defense Workshop
    Actions
        Unit - Remove (Triggering unit) from the game
        Unit - Create 1 Defense Artificer for (Owner of (Triggering unit)) at (Position of (Triggering unit)) facing Default building facing degrees

However nothing happens, how should the trigger look?

EDIT: sry dude, i failed:( dont have any ideas myb u shoud try with A unit Finishes a Research?

In the Object editor, ( i have french editor i'll try to give you the rightest indications)

You should have a line called "Tree of technologie" or "Technologies avaible".

Well choose the line "Used Upgrades" [Traducted from french] and insert the next basement you want it to be. It should work.

Changing the 'researches used' doesn't work because it's an upgrade, not a research. However I've fixed my trigger, the condition has to refer to the second building rather than the first one.
