Two visitors without any record of posts on TH have given me +rep. I'm curious if anyone else may be given +rep for no apparent reason.

You would be amazed how often this happens. Someone makes an account, gives reputation to everyone just so that he could rep his actual account twice or three times before getting banned.
Yeah, this was the case here, taken care of now.

Does it really matter if someone does or not? Rep is the same, remains a tranquile number no matter what. The point is to get help or have fun than rep yourself. Is like voting yourself as a President with 1 more vote. Totally insignificant.
