What type of shops should be there?

hey all...

i've got a simple question....or at least i hope it is

i wanna know what type of shops you would like to have.

at the moment there are basic armors and basic weapons.

I will ONLY make shops sell basic stuff and i wanna know which type of shops there shall be too.

possibilities:

1. potions
2. jewelry
3. charged items (example : a staff casting banish on the targeted unit)
4. anything else...means your idea (another idea would be great :thup: )

-OverpoweR-'s idea is good. Scrolls can be useful. But the type of scrolls it sells really depends on the game type. I mean, there's no point having a scroll which gives your units which are around your hero bonus armour for 30 seconds if the map is an RPG.

Just on the weapons and armour shops, maybe you could have specializations, such as a dwarf shop will sell dwarven items but not human items while a human shop will sell human items but not dwarven items.

Well, if there's a scroll shop then there should be a tome shop and a potion shop as well. Potions would be good in an RPG, and tomes are helpful in Hero Arenas and such.

1) Food Vendor who sells cooked meat and fish and also some buffed food like strong salmon that increase STR by 2 for 2 min after eating or something.
Sells:
Strong Salmon
Cooked Boar Ribbs
Skewered Fish eyes

2) Pet vendor, just like in WoW, you can buy useless pets that follow you around and look cool.
Sells:
Chicken
Fel Beast
Child
Mini Wolf

3) Skill seller who trains you in rare skills like pick pocketing or portal making.
Sells:
Pick pocketing
Portal Making
Camouflage
Super Sprinting
