im trying to basically copy over the bladestorm skill from the orc bladmaster to another unit but when i did it he didnt spin he just stood there but still does dmg to surrounding units.

anyone know how i can make it so my char spins?

Because other unit don't have need animation for spell only blademaster hero type can use this spell

hmm is there any way to get around this? maybe a trigger or even just make it so that the red cyclone looking thing goes around my unit?

Silly idea but you can trigger everything and make it look like he's spinning.
Create the bladestorm effect under your char, play it's attack animation, pause it, spin it, unpause it.
Boy, I sure give dumb ideas...

play attack animation??? Pause unit Cr8 unit order him to cast bladestrom and unpause but I think that attack animation will not good.

That's why I stated > PAUSE unit. Pause is a global word you know, I mean to pause everything - animation, movement, etc.
