Hi all,
I have a weird sound problem that I have not been able to fix on my own. The thing is, windows acts like I have 4 speakers (I have 2) and enables surround sound so that when playing games and stuff, I can only hear the sound coming from behind but not from the front (because I don't have any "front speakers"). This is very annoying since some applications that don't use surround doesn't make any sound at all, like chrome and skype.
I have looked into my settings in windows and realtek, but everything seems to be correct. I have changed to 2 speaker mode in the control panel sound settings and the same in realtek, but to no avail. I have windows XP.
I hope I was clear enough, and I hope someone can provide me with some assistance here because I am lost =(.
