XP sharing question

How can i disable a hero gaining XP if hes not within a certain range?

not quit sure its posible, you could do follow though,

1 disable exp for all heroes.
2 trigger the exp gain instando f using the default exp gain system and then add a condition if unit is at your certain range.

or you could try to lower the exp range, think its in gameplay con..

yeah, in the gameplay constants you can set the range at which a hero gains experience.
