Tutorial Skill Spell Books

How did you test the speed (correctly) without JASS?

Isnt it just a matter of seeing if it reacts faster?

Dude sorry, this is horrible xD You should make it bigger in all, allowing more customizing, give more features to it, like automatic teching, and should add the abilities to the units by default, maybe allow an unittypebased attribute system.

GUI is a limited programing language.

Jass is a programming language that uses built in natives just like C++ uses the ANSI standard library.

Jass is based off of C++, thus making it a programming language.

GUI is not a programming language, it's just a general user interface designed to make your life easier.

It's just like English English and American English.

I liked this tutorial. It is a neat thing, and a note to all people in here, use begins casting when you're not dealing with spells. You don't want the ability to run its cooldown and have to wait 2 seconds before it actually works.

JASS is a syntax.

This argument has absolutely nothing to do with the resource, but...

Jass is a scripting language. And a scripting language, by definition, is a programming language.

GUI is also a scripting language. Which means it is also a programming language.

When you make those lines of actions in GUI, you are fundamentally programming.

But, in all honesty, can you really call that programming? If you go back to a thread in 'Programmer's Lair', you see this discussion there.

We're so far off topic...

A computer program is defined as a list of instructions for a computer to follow. GUI triggers do just that. Programming.
