Map size larger than 480x480

Don't ask me why I want to do this.

Just please tell me how to get larger than that, or how to edit Newgen to be able to get that large.

Not sure if this is the answer but... create your new map, then go to Scenario --> Map Size and Camerea Bounds

From there make the map larger

Yes that is what i said. When you have the max, go to Scenario --> Map Size and Camerea Bounds and drag the little arrow things so the map gets even bigger

Newgen allows you to make maps up to 480 x 480 by hacking the WE, where do I find the area to edit it to be bigger?

Yes you can.... Newgen hacks the WE to make it go that high, I just can't find where to set that option

A 480x480 map is buggy enough as is. On top of that, nobody has successfully filled a 480x480 map with decent quality terrain. I do not believe it possible to create a map with an area of more than 480x480.

Tell me what your deranged mind is telling you to do.

I don't think it's possible to make them bigger than 480x480.

Even if you could I can't see any practical use for it.

I tried modifying my UMSWE to accept 960 size. Despite that, it only allowed 480. My conclusion is that it cannot be done.

Member Profile of PipeDream, he's the guy that's mainly credited for the NewGen thing.
You might want to PM him or something, quick google search xD

Main credits should really go to PipeDream, then there's PitzerMike who made such great addons and then Vexorian who made jasshelper and bundled everything and of course SFilip for the syntax highlighting, Risc for the Colorizer and the UMSWE team.
