Ya mon.. I one made an AoS between Stormwind and Ogrimar... was crazy.. everytime it spawned 100 Stormwind guards and they ran from SW to the boat... and then they rushed ogr.. and got pwned.. then orcs come and get pwned.. lol It's called "WoW: DotA"

You can't make NPC's Zone, and the pathing systems private servers have isn't good enough to path between vectored ( Bumpy ) terrain.

You said they got on a boat, and went Orgimmar. When an NPC gets on a boat, and the boat leaves, the boat "Zones" out of one map, and into another.

Well, when the boat does this, it only checks for players on the Game Object ( In this case, a Boat or a Zeppelin ), it does not check for NPC's. Therefore, when an NPC is on the boat, and it zones, the NPC falls into the water.

Also, NPC's can't interact with other Game Objects, so they therefore can't go through a portal. And you can't make a LUA script, either, as the LUA engine doesn't support NPC movement yet.

All three forms that are possible for your "WoW AoS" fail, as they don't work. Not a big deal, no need to lie, though.

BUT, In order to get from SW to Orgrimmar, you have to take a boat. Read above on why NPC's can't take a boat.

They don't take a boat. It's to simulate a boat trip. Once they step there. They will be .removed and .created on the other side. (The destinated location)

You can't do that. For one, it's not .remove, and .create, but there is no way to detect NPC location to do that, thats why Escort quests don't work.

I did, but Private Servers don't require an official account. You can just make an account free and play off it for as long as ya want.
