Altering in-game fonts

hey, i've read the post here:
http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=139535&highlight=fonts
and, i have UMSWE enabled, in all aspects, but "chat" isnt in the gameplay interface :/ at all. Has anyone else run into this problem, and found a solution?
-it just skips it and goes straight into gameplay text :/

Its font , not chat. And your in text.

its not there :/ "font" isnt, anyway. not the bottom, top, or middle. in or out of the "text" section. :[

I was able to find the section just fine by enabling UMSWE and restarting, but that doesn't seem to mean much. Looks like lots of people were having problems. That could be why this tutorial is in the Graveyard.

wow... i solved it but i dont realy know how... ill explain what i did >.>
1. disabled umswe
2. closed newgen
3.accidentally closed firefox : o
4.opened newgen again
5. enabled umswe
6. closed newgen..again.
7.opened newgen
8. was like " wtf... this is the like.. third time i've done thing.. why is it working now?"

the only thing i can think of that was different was that i had firefox open >.> , though, idk how that relates at all :/
