Bleeding Units

Is there any way to make units bleed depending on their hp similiar to how a building or a siege engine starts burning without triggers?

There are ways to do that. but need to use model editor to edit it...make the animations. This is much more better than using trigger to code it.

Well in the model folder "spawned effects" theres many blood effects for different blood effects for different units so i thought they must fit the units making them bleed somehow.

edit:
simple as

If unit hp < some% then
Add Effect on unit ( Effect Blood )
Err.. how? Do you mean with triggers or wtf?

You could add a variant of Slow Aura (Tornado), with modified art, targets and 1 area of effect - that way, you'd have no icon, a buff and special effect (if you don't want a buff, just use Sphere). Not sure if there are many consistent bleeding effects around though, but you could probably download one :p

Although triggers will be needed to add/remove the ability
