Buying a Desktop Computer

So i i recently bought WotLK and noticing a lot of lag especially in the major cities. Anyways i was looking around a bit but i cant seem to find a good site or computers that are very good for gaming. I'm looking for a newer dated model but isn't expensive because it is brand new. Looking for the price to be under $2000.

3g RAM
500g HD
A good video card (i dont know the basic specs etc)
Intel core 2 duo 2.4GHz (something good i think?)
Vista

I don't care for the case or anything and i got my keyboard/mouse/monitor, wouldn't mind getting a good sound system though.

you build your own and want the best .. you pay the price nowdays.

you build your own coz it is cheaper ?? dream on .. with today's prices you cannot compete .

i think my video card just got fryed.. i alt tab to wow and i hear sound but screen freezes, Wc3 says Direct x isnt installed but i have 9.1 and then says the cd isnt in the drive even though my computer sees it wtf
