Can anyone give me suggestions for this?

I have this hero. He's a Grand Wizard and he specializes in fire magic. So far I have 3 of his spells ready. His first spell stuns and damages. His second spell is a nova knock-back spell and his ultimate is just an AoE spell with above average damage but no other special effects.

I'm having trouble coming up with his last spell. Can anyone give suggestions? I'd prefer it if the last ability is a passive though you can suggest anything that fits his theme of being a master wizard specializing in fire magic. Just don't give something that increases mana regen or anything like that. :) Thanks.

EDIT: Oh yeah, no channeling spells too please. His model doesn't have any animations for channeling spells so he just kinda stands there while channeling stuff.

Oh come on... I have to! You could always go with "Warmth" from Diablo II. :p

But seriously...

Cloak of Flames and the likes aside, my idea was something more along the lines of a "Building Tension." The more spells cast over X seconds increases spell damage by Y damage.

Or, (game style depending) how about a move speed buff after cast?

Or, After X attacks summons a fire elemental (with a limit of 1-2 elementals at a time)

Or.... so many ideas.. :p

Let me know if you want more.

i gotta admit,thats a pretty cool spell to have :thup:

as for a spell idea, how about once he gains the Ability,he has a chance to every once in a while 'enhance' himself with 'fiery powers' ,adding him bonus stats and/or attack speed for a short duration, i think it'd be a cool spell to have :)

The Fire Mage conjures up X firey minions to circle around him, giving him health and mana regen. Anytime a unit is/comes near, he shoots one of them at the unit, and the unit is pushed back out of the circle.

With every attack, the Fire Mage builds up heat within him, dealing X damage per second to units around him (Permanent Immolation), until eventually he grows so hot that the heat is expelled in a powerful wave that damages nearby units and pushes them away from him. After expelling the heat, it continues to build up again.

It's a mage right?

So perhaps if your going along this summon idea, everytime he casts a spell make the summon.. etc?

Otherwise,
When he casts a spell at a target unit or location then a flame strike is created there dealing damage depending on the level or Intellegence or something like that.

EDIT: ah i just read the original post again. This idea wont work too well with a nova knockback :p

Or maybe a 're-cast' ability that lets you recast any non-Ultimate move thats been cast recently.
That way you can double fire stun your first move, or double nova knockback lol.
