Changing Default Blizzard Abilities?

I know that you cannot change blizzards default abilities through object editor so i copied the ability and pasted it in custom abilities and then changed the copied ability.But i cant use the copied ability because it doesnt show up when i want to add that ability on a unit.

what am i supposed to do to be able to change and use default abilities?

you CAN use blizzard abilities without any problem, also to unit use an ability, make it and UNIT ABILITY (or hero ability to heroes)

or you can just see rawcode of that ability (ctrl d) and then add the ability by rawcode to that unit (shift double left click on 'normal ability' of unit and write the rawcode founded in ability)

Use JNGP and change the AbilityID to the default blizzard ability ID. Remove the old one too,..

but when i give the unit the changed ability and test map,the ability has the default stats,not the stats that i changed.

edit:actually nvm i tried the ctrl D and used the rawcode and it worked,but it didnt work when i just added normally hmm.

Default stats? Are you sure you saved / loaded / tested the correct map file?

Did you change the description too ?
There is an option called Editor Stuffix, it makes finding your custom ability easier because the text shows up only in the editor
